Evolve treatment packages that suit patients from various income strata, with special emphasis on economically disadvantaged persons, and
Constantly update and introduce new, relevant medical technologies so that the treatment at the hospital continues to maintain its high standard.

We offer to our students an environment conducive for excellent teaching and learning so that they become health care professionals of the highest caliber, sensitized to the health needs of the less-privileged and equipped to carry out ethical and value-based practice.

In order to live up to the mission we have set for ourselves, we focus on the following aspects of teaching and learning, which distinguishes us from other medical institutions:
    Adherence to a planned and rigorous academic schedule

Research
The Charutar Arogya Mandal Medical Research Society, the Mandal’s arm engaged in the field of medical research appropriate to local conditions, is managed through a Scientific Research Advisory Committee, which is responsible for approving and reviewing the research proposals and the Governing Council, which provides policy inputs and directions in research.

Conduct innovative and interdisciplinary research relevant to the community striving always to improving health standards and practices.

Community Extension

Our Mission
We would deliver to the community, especially in the villages, need-based health programmes that lead to improvement in the health standards of all and also contribute to national health care policies and practices, and doing so by networking with other institutions having similar mission.

Consistent with the mission we have set for ourselves, we focus on the following aspects of community extension:
    Ensuring that we envision and implement programmes that are based on the needs of the community,
That the programmes are implemented in a manner that can be used as an example by other agencies and
Look for organizations, including the Government, to collaborate with, so that the delivery of our extension programmes improves.
