The
Charutar Arogya Mandal has established a separate research body,
the Chaturar Arogya Mandal Medical Research Society. The Government
of India's Directorate of Scientific and Industrial Research has recognized
the Society which is registered under the Bombay Trust Act, 1950 and

guidelines. Dr. Amrita Patel, Chairman of the Charutar Arogya Mandal,
heads the Research Society. Dr. BR Patel, an eminent cardiologist,
chairs the Research Advisory Committee. Since its inception in 1984,
