Naming Special Bed Units:

Economically better off patients earn the Hospital revenue that helps meet the cost of free and subsidized treatment to patients in general wards. The Mandal has renovated two 10-unit wards to attract these patients. Each unit has a patient bed, cot for relatives, bedside locker and is separated from other beds by curtains to ensure privacy for the patient and relatives. An individual unit costs Rs. 2.50 lakhs (US$ 5,250); an entire 10 unit ward will require a contribution of Rs. 25 Lakhs (US$ 52,500).

The Mandal would welcome contributions to equip these special bed units. It is the Mandal's policy to provide prominently displayed plaques with the name of

Individual unit donors; naming the ward after the donor will recognize the donation of a 10-unit ward.
