The LP Patel Institute admits 60 students annually to a one-year Post graduate diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) recognized by the Sardar Patel University. The Institute ensures a regular supply of well-trained and qualified laboratory technicians.

Those who complete the course are eligible for intensive hands-on training at the Hospital's laboratories, which offers a full-range of modern laboratory equipment.

Traineeship Program

This program has been designed with an objective of an extensive hands-on practice to qualified, Medical Lab. Technicians in the different sections of Medical laboratory including Clinical Pathology, Hematology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Blood Bank in order to enhance the expertise and skill; with sufficient academic interaction with the faculty to strengthen theoretical background.
